FOR SURGEONS

About STAR

The STAR (Superior Transverse Anatomic Reconstruction) approach is an innovative minimally invasive technique that provides outstanding acetabular and femoral exposure, piriformis preserving, and allows for anatomic repair of the capsule and obturator internus. It is a straightforward surgical approach requiring minimal additional training and can be performed with standard instrumentation without traction or radiography. The approach is highly versatile, effective in all patients without exception, and is compatible with every implant design and fixation technique, including complex primary, conversion, and revision cases.
